November Trip Diary

So what's a gal to do when the Hubz goes off to Las Vegas, but she stays home? Why, you send him off him with a camera and instructions to take plenty of pictures for your blog! :) Thanks to the Hubz for being a good sport and taking photos for me. He had a fun trip.

Hawaiian was the way to go on this trip.

I've never been to Pasta Pirate at the Cal, and perhaps many others haven't either? California Noodle House is moving into its space.

On our July trip, road work was being done on the Cal side of this road.  Now it's been done on the opposite side.

All that wasted space fronting Bally will soon be filled with retail shops.

I'm looking forward to it!

SLS Las Vegas is now open. This used to be Sahara. Hubz said the decor is modern and contemporary.

Pool at SLS Las Vegas.

And here comes the food pics. Burger from In N Out. After he texted me this pic,
I promptly went out for a burger of my own in Honolulu.

Chili dog from the American Coney Islands, located at the D.

Hubz eats his loco moco with eggs scrambled well.

At The Cromwell, cocktail waitresses use iPads to take your order. Orders are sent
back to the bar wireless and another waitress comes out with your drink.

Hubz caught the fall decorations at the Bellagio Conservatory.

But most of Vegas was ready for Christmas in mid-November. Decorations were up all over.

Sigh. It'll be a while until my next trip. Thanks for visiting!
